Five Things That Some Guys Do ....

1. Diet

I think it is a good idea for everyone, male & female, to engage in healthy eating habits but there is something about the idea of a man on a diet that disgusts me. Several guys in my office are on Weight Watchers (Relatively young guys). And none of them are obese or even fat! Muscular, no but far from fat. Men are naturally more lean & muscular than females and a couple of hours in the gym will usually ward off a beer belly if the guy is under the age of 40. I’m not into chubby guys, but I’d rather a dude embrace his man boobs (a la Ricky Rozay) than count points like a CHICK. Man up & work out!

2. Excessive Grooming

I’m not 13, so I do not think Soulja Boy or his pretty boy swag is cool. You know why I don’t like pretty boys??? Because I like MEN! And men aren’t supposed to be pretty. They can be sexy but there is a big diff between pretty & sexy. Sexy def includes standard grooming (nice neat clean fashionable clothes, hair cuts, shaving, etc.) but the extras (eyebrow shaping, body waxing, etc.) are pretty. Pretty GAY! (**in my Seinfeld voice** not that there’s anything wrong with that)... In case you are wondering, the occasional mani/pedi is ok, but if you get clear polish, that’s pretty… and metrosexual only exists in the minds of closeted and/or conflicted homosexual men. ===> CallMeKarrie PSA, you’re welcome

3. Worrying About What Other Dudes Are Doing

So what he talks to her. So what he drives a nice car? So what he wears expensive clothes? Jealousy, envy & admiration are all very human traits but there is something about a guy who always feels the need to verbalize these traits that makes me want to regurgitate. Shut up.

4. Crying and No One Died

Its healthy to be honest about your emotions, but have you ever dated a guy that cried for dumb stuff? Yeah, me neither, but if I did I wouldn’t like it, lol… well I did have a guy cry while we were arguing, but I wasn’t crying so the fact that he was a clear sign that we weren’t gonna make it.

5. Hmm, maybe I’ll stop with four, don’t want to give you guys the wrong impression of me, lol. And I realize that all of these are based off double standards that negatively effect males and I’m a equal opportunity critic.
