Ford Motor Company CEO Alan Mulally who has agreed to take a salary reduction from about $20 Million to $1.00 if Ford receives $25 Billion in emergency loans from taxpayers has said that instead of taking his private jet like last time he will take the 10 hour drive from Detroit to Washington D.C. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand, Converse invited 100 artists from around the world to participate in the one year 1HUND(RED) program. 10% of the proceeds from this program will be donated to The Global Fund to support the campaign in Africa to fight AIDS. Danish fashion brand “WOOD WOOD” is the latest to work on the 1HUND(RED) collaboration with Converse. Their Chuck Taylor in a simple one color design of grey, the upper are made with a soft suede, with irregular perforations. Wood Wood is called out on the tongue tag and as with all the 1HUND(RED) collaborations, the top lace loop is in red. Only 12 pairs will available in Hong Kong, and will sell exclusively at Juice.
