Shoe Styling by Dekkori

Posted by WNO |

Are you one of the people who have those pair of shoes that you want to wear but simply can’t find anything to wear it with? or just can’t quite get with the style? Well, here is a quick and chic solution! I want to introduce you all to DeKKori a brand of shoe styling accessories and accents to change the style of any shoe completely to something a little more high fashion and modern. Prices ranging at about $60- $200, which to me is fairly reasonable because you can use these shoe accessories more than once on many different shoes, in many different ways and no one will take notice. The shoe accessories have been featured in many publications such as Vogue, Paper Magazine, Marie Claire, Zink, and W mag. One of my favorite editorial shots was with FC Mag (picture below).

Can you spot the Dekkori shoe accessory?

Trust me when I say accessories are the future, so let’s take one at a time and build

our wardrobe to the best of its ability!

ARE YOU READY!!!

Who am I you ask? No I’m not the part of an 80’s girl rap group trying to make a come back on some VH1 Show. However, I did come to lace with you with some critical, lyrical, and oh so satirical lessons for life. It’s not by chance that my presence has been requested on this here blog. Yes I am indeed that final element that solidifies the purpose of its existence. (Smile) I am here to breathe new concepts, new revelations, NEW LIFE so that you may absorb the necessary knowledge that will contribute to your very survival! I be’s that girl they call CAG. The Unequivocal Lyricist and Stylish Anecdotalist.

Please excuse my grand enTRANCE. While I am far from a poet, you will find as we develop a ‘blogaship’ i.e. relationship between bloggers and their readers, that I’m quite the drama queen. Many of you may know me from my personal blog (http://www.cagreinvented.com/) . . .or not. (lol) Cheap plug I know, but check it out anyway! (Smile) However, this post isn’t about me necessarily...Well not completely. It’s about my decision to partner with my peoples at Water N Oxygen to discuss the orgasmic areas for which I become overzealous and aroused. While your mind continues to plummet in the gutter of ridiculousness, no I’m not referring to my g-spot. No it’s much better than that. I’m talking about my passion for fashion and everything it encompasses. While I would love to share my first climax experience in the women’s shoe department of Nordy’s, I will spare the details for another time and by special request only. (lol) Today, I will briefly address a rising trend in fashion for which I feel extremely torn; the OVER THE KNEE (OTK) BOOT.

I am not at all a huge proponent of this recent fashion phenomenon. My lack of enthusiasm probably stems from the fact that I’m short and cautious of contraptions that may interfere with the comfort of my va-jay-jay (lol). However, I will say this. If you CAN NOT afford to spend at least $300+ the OTK boots, you really need to move on and find a good below the knee alternative. There’s nothing to be ashamed of! I’m in the same boat! However, if you can afford some quality OTK boots, I would suggest some of the following options to add to your collection. (Note: When I say afford I’m not talking about spending your rent money in hopes of not getting evicted for the sake of fabulousness) Finally, if you do decide to try the cheaper OTK option, please do not get offended if you someone confuses you for a stripper in the local shaky butts.

With that being said, I’m out people! Thanks for the warm welcome (that you can express in the form of comments...wink) Until next time...Stay FAB!!

SHOEGASM!!!

Posted by WNO |

Fly guys & fashionistas alike all know the joy a good pair of shoes can bring। There is something so primal, so sexual, so arousing about purchasing, wearing and being complimented on the perfect pair of shoes that it can only be described as SHOEGASMIC!!! (back up, don’t touch me, I need a minute… ok, I’m good).
Now we know the extent that guys will go to obtain the newest Jordans or Air Yeezy (or whatever it is you guys are selling your soul over these days), but the very intimate relationship a girl shares what her shoes can be directly related to her men। I’ll offer the examples of old-faithful, trendy, & “The One” to illustrate.
old faithful
"Old faithful courtesy of steve madden"
Every girl has a pair of old-faithfuls. Old-faithfuls are classic, basic, and very versatile. For most women, old-faithful would be a pair of plain black pumps. When all else fails, you know you can reach into the back of your closet (or backseat of your car in my case) and be on your way. Now while they work well in most situations, they don’t excite or inspire you. They neither add to your ensemble nor take from it. They def get you by but leave much to be desired. Your old-faithful dude serves this same purpose. When you don’t have weekend plans, he’ll gladly take you out. When you have an itch that needs to be scratched, he’ll do that too (and usually very, very well). Even though he’s been in the picture for years there are no real sparks with old-faithful. He’s not a bad guy, but you don’t feel like he completes you, so while he’s there when you need him you still remain slightly unsatisfied or fulfilled.
trendy3
"Trendy courtesy of chritian louboutin"
When you’re feeling jazzy or wanna put an extra pep in your step, you skip over old-faithfuls and go for trendy. Trendys are cute, exciting, and def add that je ne sais quoi to your ensemble that will keep all eyes on you. The only thing about trendys are that they usually hurt your feet and you will prob be so over them next season. Doesn’t this sound like that dude your dating? He’s cool, he’s hot and together you guys really turn heads. And while all that sounds great, it’s just something about him that irks you. All your friends are like “oh girl, he is sexy!” and while you smile and accept the compliment you can’t help but to think about how much of a pain in the ass he really is. He’s probably broke, trifling, stupid, crazy, something worst, or a combination of all the aforementioned. So while trendy serves the purpose right now, you will soon throw him in the back of your closet with no intention of digging him back out. What’s even funnier, when you’re a little older, a little wiser, and a lot more fashion savvy, you will look back at trendys and say “what the hell was I thinking???”.
theone
"The one courtesy of yves saint laurent"
“The One” is that one pair of shoes that some girls are so lucky to find. They are everything you need in your wardrobe. They are comfortable, practical, and no matter how many times you wear them, you still get compliments on them. They’ve transcended the test of time as well as seasons and trends. They were prob a splurge and hurt your pockets a bit but every time you wear them you remind yourself that they were worth every penny. They complete you every single time you put them on… “The One” is also the guy you are meant to be with. You’ll prob have to put in a little more work than usual to find and keep him, but he is def worth it. And the funny part about it, it will take some time before you actually realize his worth. He’s sweet, smart, successful and completes you. (**cue keyshia’s cole “you complete me in the background”) Awww!!!...
Ok, enough of the mushy stuff. The moral of the story is ladies, be as picky about your men as you are with your shoes and you’ll undoubtedly have a very profitable return on your investment. Fly recognize fly, so proceed with fierceness! Lol – CallMeKarrie
